Will the LORD not protect you when Doing HIS Work? – Many fail to respond to the call of the LORD out of fear of persecution, attacks from people and even the devil using their pasts to haunt them. But, Will the LORD not protect you when Doing HIS Work? Will He will leave you to be mercy of these things and the likes?
For fear of people, and considering age Jeremiah told the LORD he is too young. A fear that they may not listen to him, that they may hurt him for the words he would speak. The LORD assured him of protection and though they may try, surely would they fail. Will the LORD not protect you when Doing HIS Work?
‘And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord , have spoken!” ‘ Jeremiah 1:8.
Even as the LORD protects you, the enemy would certainly make attempts on your life because your very existence and doing the will of the LORD is a clear line of threat and defeat for them and as many of them would have a celebration if they get you to not stay your course in the LORD.
I urge you to share confidence in the words the LORD told Jeremiah;
‘And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord , have spoken!” For see, today I have made you strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall. Jeremiah 1:8,18
The name of the LORD alone is a strong tower and the enemy dares not come near. They may come in a single file, a thousand ways shall they flee and only with your eyes shall you see their fall.- Psalm 91. Will the LORD not protect you when Doing HIS Work? He surely will, so pick up your spots and play your role and work for the LORD your GOD.
Know that sufferings, hardships and worst things are part of the deal, do not let these and the likes separate you from HIS love and the love for HIS work. – Romans 8:38:39. It is important for you to know that, the reward for these works are not here but for a crown in heaven with HIM, your bodies and all the earthly things cannot be compared to the promised eternal joy. If we live, we live for HIM and if we die, it is all for HIS good.
