What is the nature of your relationship or fellowship with God? – Are you a servant or you feel are entitled to make demands of your Creator? If for you it is easier to serve and give utmost reverence(deep respect) to your earthly fathers, bosses and leaders, why is giving God His due a daunting and impossible task?
Why do you place God and the things of God as second fiddle and for some, God doesn’t even exist.
Newsflash:- God owns your father, your bosses, the leaders, all and everything in the universe, and the host of them.
Our fathers, Abraham, Enoch and a whole lot of the saints we read about in the Bible knew the place of God and had a constant fellowship with Him because they understood their place with Him.
How do you relate with God? Do you have an Enoch type of fellowship with Him?
“Enoch lived 365 years, walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him.” – Genesis 5:23-24
Hebrews 11 records the account of Abraham and of Enoch and a host of them on how they had the desired fellowship with God. Abraham is our Father, a blessing to generations, and Enoch an astute servant who pleased God.
The Question today is;
What is the nature of your relationship or fellowship with God? Does how your relationship with God please Him? Is your fellowship worthy? Or you suddenly became the owner of yourself and God to make demands? Ponder on the below tune;
Dear LORD, teach me to understand my place, teach me to understand your Words that I will fellowship with you, serve you and put you first above all else by doing your Will.
