What is your attitude as a Christian? What is the ideal Christian Attitude? Many would want to live in the ways of the world just to please their friends or associations that they keep yet would proudly ascribe to themselves the tag of “I am a Christian!”
Are you a christian? Does your attitude reflect what Christ says it should? Yes, its cast in stone and well and clearly stated out in the Bible as Christ being born of the flesh walked the talk and lived in perfection.
Paul’s letter to the Philippians queries and answers thus below;
“Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” – Philippians 2:1-5
You may think this is out of this world, but I urge you to take a critical look at these texts as Paul wrote then for he Paul lived it to mean that if you are of Christ then you must not that you are called to perfection therefore you must exhibit the same attitude. Christ in you, the Hope of God’s Glory.
Let the glory of God radiate through your life to be the salt and the light of this world.
Father Lord, please strengthen me to be able to the humble enough to walk the life of Christ and take interest in others as He did. Lord, empower me to put up the ideal Christian attitude in all my walks.
