Isolation kills but surely solitude vivifies, thus the need for unity. Either you agree in the unity in numbers or the power of a triple-braided cord or the broom, getting the right set of numbers, cords and broom-sticks is what actually vivifies.
You cannot do it on your own, there is the need for companionship – unity; the Creator our Master acknowledges this fact at the beginning of life – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”(Genesis 1:27).
God in the Genesis of the world knew Adam could not cover the grounds alone, nor succeed all by himself. He knew man would always need a companion; an able individual that would help him up, a complement, Eve was that answer. You need another person.
The Bible in Ecclesiastes makes know of the fact that we cannot always accomplish anything on our own particularly success. We need another person else we fall or fail.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 – “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
In navigating the challenges of this world, we cannot do all things by ourselves that is why we need each other, we need people to inspire us, motivate us to help us up when we are falling or failing.
Let us get one thing clear, there is nowhere in the Bible that it is written that “Heaven Helps those who Help themselves” so therefore you can jet off on your own, in isolation and claim to pursue success for the myth of heaven helps those who helps themselves to work for you.
God always uses man to bless man, Christ came in the form of a man to die for men, born to a couple, died for men, spread the Word of God with like minded individuals – Jesus Christ had 12 Disciples.
Everybody needs somebody, let that someone that you need be one that gives you the drive for excellence and success.
Yes, as an individual you can conceive success but to accomplish that success it takes another individual to play a complementary or supportive role.
In the words of Apostle Paul tells us; Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In as much as we can work in groups or pairs to reach a goal let us remember to involve the Father, The Son and His Holy Spirit all the way through, for in Him we can accomplish ALL THINGS – Not by ourselves but in Unity. Isolation kills, but with God all things are possible.
Dear Lord, may I not lean on my own understanding and might but on your help, understanding wisdom and guidance in attracting the right people to help accomplish my daily tasks. For I trust that through Christ, comes the strength to do all things.
