Stand Firm by Keeping the Faith and Remembering the Word of the Lord -There are times you are asked to stand firm by keeping the faith, a very difficult thing to do when everything keeps hitting you from all directions.
The most painful part is when the people who ought to know better, people who believe in being righteous and just become your main source of pain and temptation to bruise the pain of your situation.
Surprising and mostly these times come after a Word(prophesy or often times Bible texts you are convicted of) has gone ahead of you, and the situation squarely comes to test the foundation of what you have heard, learnt or convicted of.
I know this is the time you feel you have had enough and you would want to prove that you are no walk over. This is the time you want to prove how knowledgeable you are and how right you are because you are the one who is being offended. Lean not on your own understanding nor wisdom; this is the time you need the wisdom of the LORD as to whether to utter a word, silence, make a move or not. Seek the LORD! – Proverbs 3:5-6
What tests must you pass just after a long hour of fasting? What situations come at you quickly after you have been given a prophecy of caution, self control, wisdom in judgement or when asked to exercise restraint and patience. Sadly but timely, when it’s seconds from the prophecy or that which you have read or convicted of from unfolding, disaster hits!
Did He not declare?….
“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” – Isaiah 54:10
The one thing you must be sold on is that as difficult as the situation is, the clock is ticking and only if you will stand firm by keeping the faith and remembering the word of the Lord, it shall pass and His glory shall abound.
You must pass the test at all cost as proof of your faithfulness and conviction of the Words of the Lord!
In the midst of the Storm, Chaos and Disaster this should be your prayer; – Psalm 46:1-2
Dear LORD God, Grant me the wisdom to make the right moves on remembrance of you being my Anchor and Hope amidst the Storm and Chaos for soon this shall pass according to your timing.
