Your slimming teas don’t work. Slimming teas don’t make you slim. Some contain laxatives or diuretics. Laxatives cause diarrhea, making you poo a lot, this doesn’t allow your body absorb nutrients – bad idea. Diuretics make you lose water, which can give the feeling of losing weight.
Neither of these things have sorted out the main issue – excess fat. For weight loss to be sustainable, you have to lose the excess fat. Fat is stored from the excess nutrients. It’s like a bank. If you don’t spend it, it will be saved. Same thing with the body.
These laxatives/diuretics in these teas can cause dehydration and your electrolytes may become imbalanced which can lead to more problems, especially if used for a long time. You’re not helping yourself, because you’re not losing the actual fat, you’re losing water weight instead.
If you notice, the target for these teas are people who are desperate and want to lose weight as quickly as possible. The principle that as long as you take less than your body needs, your body will have to burn the excess. Work on your diet, what you eat and how much you eat.
