Should you continue in Sin because of Grace? – Grace had long been with man in in the days of Adam but many think once it had been re-handed down by the Word that become flesh and as merciful as Christ is it was room to abuse it, but I caution you this day to – Stop Going Back to the Sins you Asked for Forgiveness For!
Paul was inspired to ask the daring question twice in a single Chapter;
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. – Romans 6:1-4
Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. – Romans 6:15-16
So then why are you still exhibiting the same old habits, Stop Going Back to the Sins you Asked for Forgiveness For – going back and forth only makes you a child who never grows, a diseased baby with stunted growth; stop the drama and grow up! Grow up from today….
What then would show you have salvation?
To show that you are truly saved and repented of the old ways, then you must be “transformed” and with “a renewed mind”. – Romans 12:1-2
Do not get thing twisted just for the fact that there is Grace, for Grace works within rules and these rules are created by Master of the universe, the one who controls and determines where grace applies or doesn’t.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. – Romans 12:3
For those who think that Grace began with Christ, then you must know that Christ is the Word that became flesh and as John revealed to you, the Word was with Man since the creation! Now lemme juggle up your memory that grace had been with Man during the Old Testament;
Adam and Eve sinned against God, God could have chosen to snap the life out of them but gave them unto the vast of the land as a show of His grace and mercy. If an eye for an eye was anything to go by, and if God was a man, when Cain killed Abel, God could have killed Cain in return, but did He? – Genesis 3 and 4
The grace of God has limits, do not forget that the LORD buried His own people alive and made fire consume some whiles others experienced a plague. – Numbers 16: 32-50.
There is a solution though,
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him. – John 3:36.
I admonish you therefore to stop making a mockery of yourself because He is God and can never be mocked. Salvation means you let go and pick the form and nature of Christ Jesus, old ways dropped and you do not go back! Ask your neighbour, Should you continue in Sin because of Grace?
Dear LORD, strengthen my will to let go of the old and take up the nature and form of my saviour Christ Jesus. Help me to keep the faith whiles I race to finish my course here on earth awaiting the eternal glory.
