Rejoice in the Hope of the Glory of God!
Romans 5:1-5 – Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:3-5 – Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
The Father urges us to rejoice, not only when things are going on well for us but even in the midst of challenges. He says that we should even offer unto Him Thanks in all things, the good and the bad times(1 Thessalonians 5:18) for that is His will for us.
Though weeping(suffering) may last for the night it produces endurance that builds your character. This character is what give you the hope that the next time you are going through another weeping(suffering) there is joy in the morning. Because that which He has began in your life, that surely He will accomplish to the Glory of His name.
So Rejoice in the Hope of the Glory of God.
Father Lord, I pray that I should have the strength to stand and endure the sufferings of the now, that I will enjoy in the Glory that abounds.
Help me to watch and pray, that I may rely on you.
And o, if my trust on you betray then,
I shall surely die.
In Jesus name, Amen!
