Three second half goals by Tunisia ended Madagascar’s fairytale run at this year’s AFCON.
Ferjani Sassi opened the scoring with a scruffy strike that broke Madagascar’s resolve.

Captain Youssef Msakni soon added to Tunisia’s advantage before Naim Sliti added a late third ahead of Sunday’s semi-final against Senegal.
Sassi almost broke the deadlock in superb fashion in the early exchanges, twisting into space on the edge of the area and firing just over the top.
Tunisia thought they had their breakthrough in the opening minute of the second half but star man Khazri strayed offside.
Sassi scored from 20 yards after his shot took a huge deflection off Thomas Fontaine to wrongfoot the goalkeeper.
Msakni then picked out the bottom-left corner to double Tunisia’s lead before substitute Sliti finished off a 93rd-minute counter to complete the scoring.
