Is Your Life as a Christian Profitable? What is impact on society ever since you become a christian? What have you contributed to society and humanity at large?
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. – 2 Timothy 4:11
We strive to make impact in our places of work and take all the accolades; can the same be said about how you approach the things of God? Christ led a selfless, compassionate and commitment to the growth and welfare of His disciples and taught same, why is your life on the contrary and yet you still boast of the title “I am a Christian!”.
Many would just want to treat the church as a supermarket, just walk in, grab what they came for and then walk out. When was the last time you joined in cleaning up the place before the congregation arrived? When was the last time you volunteered to assist in completing a task for the church?
When was the last time you prayed for the preacher or those that kept the arrangements of the church running? When was the last time you fasted for brother or sister who was in trouble? I will leave the rest of the questions to you, lest this would sound like you are being judged.
Does your behaviour even radiate the life of Christ Jesus, to be the hope of Glory for the unbeliever to want to worship God? Is Your Life as a Christian Profitable? Can your church folks say you are profitable to the propagation of the gospel? Apostle Paul counted Mark as one who is profitable for the ministry. What about you?
My prayer for you is for the Lord to grant you wisdom to be able to identity a place to help in the propagation of the gospel and be a profitable worker in His vineyard and not just a spectator. God bless you.
