How often do you read your Bible? – ‘And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. ‘ – Acts 17:11
There are those who only open the Bible during Sermons, those that have their Bibles with them and yet never open them and would only read off the screens during sermons, there is a group who do not delight in the Bible App nor having a hard copy Bible.
Then there is the people of Berea; the open minded, listening eagerly and combing the Scriptures day after day in search of the truth type of people.
Which are you? How often do you read your Bible? How much of what you read to you take in and apply to your life?
How much of the Good News do you know and understand? Have you taken time to read the Bible for yourself to compare the Bible stories you have been told as a child to the actual rhema behind the texts?
You would be surprised much of what you have heard and held as the truth could be false. Search the Scriptures daily and come into terms with the truth for yourself. Seek for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the mysteries to you.
