God called you so what are you waiting for? – You were taught to believe that not all of us can do the work of God, and by now you believe that not all of us can do the work of God and if we were to, who would be the ordinary folks? Let me break the good news to you: we have all been called to be of service in the hands of our Maker.
Here is what the LORD had said about Jeremiah, same was said about you before your conception;
‘“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”’ Jeremiah 1:5
What was sure for Jeremiah is that the LORD ordained him as a prophet, and this could your calling or something else. You may have been called to be a singer, a healer, an intercessor and whoever or whatever he formed you for.
The work of God is so much so that a lot more hands including that of yours are needed to pick up the roles and responsibilities you were formed for. Know that God called you so what are you waiting for?
Much more in this day, the voice of the LORD is much louder and present right in your ears. The prophet Isaiah noted it down and responded to that call….
‘Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”’ Isaiah 6:8
The question is, how long would you pretend not to hear the call and how much longer would you refuse to say “Here am I! Send me.”
If indeed you believe in Christ, you follow him, as a Christian then you are no less than His disciples. Here the word of the Master Shepherd to you : “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. ‘ Matthew 9:37
Be responsible and heed the call, for the harvest is plentiful, few labourers with many wasting into doom and eternal condemnation. Declare to yourself; “Here am I! Send me.”
Dear LORD, help me identify your purpose for my life, “Here am I! Send me.”
