The Blacks Stars of Ghana and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon played out a disappointing 0-0 draw game tonight at the ongoing African Cup of Nations 2019 in Ismailia, Egypt.
Cameroon moves onto four points at the top of Group F, with Ghana still winless with two points. The game also saw Newcastle winger Christian Atsu go off early after he picked up an injury.

Kwesi Appiah’s side who could only manage a 2-2 draw against Benin in their opening game and they were frustrated again versus a Cameroon side who move on to four points at the group’s summit.
Ghana took control of the game in the early minutes and created some goal-scoring opportunities, but the likes of Kassim Nuhu, Christian Atsu fluffed them.
The Indomitable Lions warmed themselves into the game and also had their own turn of the possession after the first 15 minutes.
The Lions belatedly woke from their slumber and twice tested Richard Ofori in the final 10 minutes of the first half.
The Black Stars came agonizingly close to sealing all three points in the closing stages when substitute Kwabena Owusu’s powerful drive crashed back off the crossbar.
Ghana will now be under pressure when they face Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday in their final group game. Cameroon, meanwhile, are in pole position to qualify for the last 16 and face Benin on the same day.
