Barea surprised many to win their group with victories over Nigeria and Burundi – while the Leopards finished as one of the best third place finishers to progress.

Faneva Andriatsima gave his team the lead with a header in the 77th minute before Chancel Mbemba’s 90th-minute equalizer forced extra-time.
