Better to Choose the Punishment of God than the Praise of the Enemy – When I was not with God, I enjoyed life and I could do whatever I please. Why do I come into the fold of God and I am restricted and worst of all, I get punished and experience pain and go through tribulations.
With the conviction of the Spirit from the Word; the Word of God you are on the journey or transformed to be of Him your Savior and Father. Obviously, there is going to be some smoothing out, some training sessions, some adjusting and some uncomfortable routines which would not agree with your old self. The old self would fight back and this is what would result in corrections and thus punishments.
‘He shall deliver you in six troubles, Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.’ – Job 5:19 – Indeed, the LORD Himself, would toughen you up so that when the enemy comes close, they pose no harm. This is a proverbial verse depicts that God does allow pain to come into our lives, it is not to harm us, but to make us better.
It is important you know not every pain, punishment or tribulation is an attack from the enemy, and not that God can’t make it pass over you, He let’s you go through it so it builds you up. Ask Job, – ‘In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. ‘ Job 1:1
When you were in the world, you were an illegitimate child/without a Father, worse off the enemy was your father. A good Father ensures you grow and are fed with the right growth foods. God certainly wants you grow; passing you through the fire and water, thick and thin to prepare to be of strong character and faith.
Being in Christ, in God, you are required to grow, to bear fruit off the vine(Jesus, the true vine) the carries you. – John 15.
Why is it Better to Choose the Punishment of God than the Praise of the Enemy
As advised in Job 5:17, Behold, how happy is the man whom God reproves, So do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. The Punishment, Correction and the Discipline of the LORD could only be for out good, lest when the enemy is condemned we are joined in that condemnation.
But when we are judged, we are disciplined[chastised, punished] by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world. – 1 Corinthians 11:32
Be that as it may, I know The Punishment, Correction and the Discipline of the LORD is no less painful. Worse off sometimes the ones He allows the enemy to deal with you on hurts the most but know that it is for your good.
‘Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.’ – Hebrews 12:11.
I trust you will look to the LORD and stay resolute no matter where the roads knowing very well He means good for us and has only the Best for our lives and souls.
Dear Father, cause me to follow you wherever you lead, cause me appreciate and trust your every process. May I Abide you in always no matter.
