Can your lifestyle inspire salvation? One of the difficult questions people would dare not answer is whether you could be the hope of salvation for another?
It is established that once a man finds Christ, his household must all be saved. When Abraham met God he brought along Sarah his wife, Isaac and all of his household even all of his servants. Since you met Christ who have you brought along?
Abraham grew in the faith strong enough to intercede on behalf of others on one part, on the other hand, his question was would the Lord rain fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah if there was a few people who were godly?
Abraham came near and said, “Will You destroy the good also, with the bad? What if there are fifty good people within the city? Will You destroy the place and not save it because of the fifty good people in it? May You never do such a thing as to destroy the good with the bad! May the good never be punished like the bad! You would never do such a thing! Will not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?” So the Lord said, “If I find fifty good people in the city of Sodom, I will save the whole place because of them.” – Genesis 18:23-26.
Lot was counted among the holy people and was saved on the account of Abraham enough to save Lot’s entire household except his disobedient wife.
What is your status with God? Does the way you serve God count before Him for your parents, siblings, spouse, workplace to receive the blessings, favour and mercy of God? Are you the Hope of Salvation for Another?
Dear Lord, Please guide me to live a life holy enough to carry my household, my descendants and friends along.
