Most times, we get off hitting the start button to things with a certainty that it would all work out great!
Sometimes it does work out but other times we get disappointed. Question is, ‘Do we always start with God?’
Why do we always blame the Grand Old Man when things doesn’t go our way? Have we suddenly forgotten He is the Creator? Yes the Creator and the Master Architect of all things.
Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
We humans are but tenants in the Lord’s haven, wouldn’t be okay if tenants ask permission before using things that belong to the Master’s things?
Man gets too big, and thinks he or she is way bigger than the Master and finds no need to ask for permissions(Always Putting God First).
1Samuel 14:36 Then Saul said, “Let’s chase the Philistines all night and plunder them until sunrise. Let’s destroy every last one of them.” His men replied, “We’ll do whatever you think is best.” But the priest said, “Let’s ask God first.”
King Saul seems to have forgotten the place of God, just because he is King of Israel, a God given post. Just like King Saul many of us are sucked into the same position where we feel we are in control instead of God…..
Do you remember Matthew 6:33; ‘But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you’.
To win, to get things right…Always Start with God! Put God First.
