You should be grateful that you are a small business owner and there are many things to be thankful for opportunities.
As an entrepreneur, I know that the list may belong for you, and though you may not show my kind gratitude every day, I am sure we share certain similarities. Sometimes you’d rather bury your head under a pillow than wake up and deal with the problems that lie ahead at your business, but in the end, it’s definitely worth it.
Thinking about your own life, especially as it relates to running a business. What moments are you grateful for?
HERE ARE THINGS I’M GRATEFUL FOR (AND YOU SHOULD!)
You’re Responsible For Your Success
You are the motivating force behind your endeavor and you get the recognition for steering the ship towards success. While you may have a team or support from consultants, the progress of your business rests in your hands. Celebrate what you have accomplished and appreciate your efforts for coming this far!
Doing What You Love
You hear this a lot. Who among us didn’t start a business because we wanted to do something we enjoyed? Being surrounded by our passions every day is inspiring and it keeps me going, even through stressful times. So, be grateful for the opportunity to do what you love.
You Have Flexibility
As business owners, we set our own schedules and get to prioritize each day, that’s flexibility. The flexibility offered by small business ownership is quite appealing. Being free to adjust your schedule as needed is a great moment to be grateful as compared to being a robot working a corporate gig.
A Great Business Partner
If you have a business partner, appreciate them for everything they do. Mine never sleeps and he pushes you to be a better version of yourself. What else do you need than motivation to get rich?
A Supportive Online Network
The lifeblood of my business’ marketing is social media and blogs. I am so thankful for all those people who read my content and share it across the Web. They are the real MVPs. Support from your online fans, many who you haven’t met before, yet they show you great love by being ambassadors are worth being grateful for!
You Call The Shots
You might have 99 problems, but being a boss isn’t one. As a small business owner, you decide which direction to go. As a small business owner, you chart the course and can decide which objective is the priority. What is more fun than being in the driver’s seat and in full control.
You Surround Yourself With Smart People
I’m also lucky to have some of the best people in my field working together as a team. They are my second family. Can you say the same about your team? If you can, then hey, you have a point to be grateful like I am.
You Wouldn’t Change It For The World
Despite the roller coaster that comes with business ownership as well as all the risks involved, there’s nothing I’d rather be doing. (Except sipping rum on rocks at Santorini with my crew…Hahaha!!!!)

You Will Retire How And When You Like
When you work for someone else, you are subject to their ideas about retirement. They decide an appropriate time to many times and most importantly the subject of retirement. They control so much and when they decide you’re done, it’s time to move on.
As a small business owner, you hold the reins on retirement and you get to build your nest egg as you desire. You decide when it’s time to retire by yourself with all the benefits. Be grateful for you have this and so much more!
